Treatment Programs

A full continuum of evidence-based care for lasting recovery.

MHS Rehab offers comprehensive treatment programs designed to meet each individual where they are. From medical detox through outpatient care, our clinical team provides personalized, evidence-based treatment at every stage of recovery.

Medical Detox

Medical detoxification at MHS Rehab is the carefully managed opening phase of your recovery. Our Chino facility delivers round-the-clock physician and nursing supervision in a secure, calming environment. We utilize medication-assisted treatment as clinically appropriate to alleviate withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, and stimulants.

A standard detox engagement lasts 3 to 7 days, determined by the substances involved and the patient's overall health profile. Throughout the stay, our medical team monitors vital signs, adjusts medications dynamically, and provides emotional support to ease the physical and psychological strain. Upon stabilization, patients transition directly into residential or outpatient care without interruption.

Residential Treatment

Our residential program offers a 30- to 90-day therapeutic immersion built around consistency, accountability, and authentic human connection. Within our 44-bed Chino campus, residents follow a purposeful daily schedule encompassing individual psychotherapy, evidence-based group work, family sessions, and restorative wellness activities.

Treatment plans are co-created with each client. CBT, DBT, motivational enhancement therapy, and 12-Step facilitation anchor the clinical framework, while yoga, mindfulness meditation, art therapy, and physical fitness programming support emotional and physical restoration. The outcome is a multilayered recovery base that accompanies patients well beyond their time with us.

Outpatient Program

MHS Rehab's outpatient services encompass an Intensive Outpatient Program and a standard Outpatient track, each engineered to provide meaningful clinical engagement without requiring full-time residence. Sessions are held at our Chino location multiple times per week, leveraging the same proven methodologies that underpin our residential program.

The IOP pathway involves 9 to 12 weekly hours of group therapy, individual counseling, and relapse-prevention skill building. As clients demonstrate stability, they step down to the standard outpatient track at 3 to 6 weekly hours. Both pathways include routine toxicology screening, family participation opportunities, and thorough aftercare planning tied to resources throughout the Inland Empire and Chino's diverse community.

Dual Diagnosis

Many individuals entering addiction treatment also carry co-occurring mental health diagnoses such as major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. MHS Rehab's dual diagnosis program confronts both issues concurrently, recognizing that treating one while neglecting the other undermines lasting recovery.

Our psychiatric professionals perform detailed diagnostic evaluations and collaborate closely with therapists, counselors, and peer support specialists to develop unified care plans. Clients benefit from individual psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management when indicated, specialized co-occurring disorder groups, and practical coping strategies for navigating symptoms in daily life. This synchronized approach offers the strongest pathway to enduring recovery and psychological well-being.
